Summer Alpine ride
Hot air balloon ride in summer
Experiencing the alpenglow early in the morning will make your heart beat faster. From setting up the balloon, to the amazing views and pictures, to the sparkling wine baptism, it's a fantastic experience!
The start will be between Zell am See and Filzmoos, depending on the wind. We climb to over 3,000m and you experience the unique backdrop of the Austrian mountains from a new perspective.

Winter Alpine ride
Ballooning in winter
Experiencing the sunrise in a wicker basket will stay with you for a long time. Snow-capped mountain peaks, crystal clear air and a landscape like in a fairy tale are just some of the highlights.
The start will be between Zell am See and Filzmoos, depending on the wind. And it is exactly this wind that carries us through the valleys and over the mountain peaks. We usually reach over 3,000m and you experience the Austrian mountains from a bird's eye view.

Alpine crossing
The ultimate balloon experience: crossing the Alps from Austria to Italy. The view of the Grossglockner, Grossvenediger, the main Alpine ridge, the Dolomites and distant views, mostly as far as the Po Valley in the direction of Venice, will leave you amazed. The route and mountains can of course vary and we have oxygen on board for you.
If the north foehn wind is suitable, we will inform you 2 days before the trip. Crossing the Alps is only possible a few times in winter.

Where does it start?
Starting points in Zell am See & Filzmoos
Depending on the wind, we decide at short notice where the ideal starting point is: near Zell am See or in the Filzmoos area.
We always have to follow the wind; a balloon can only be controlled by its altitude and its direction is determined by the wind.
That's why you will be informed of the exact meeting point the evening before. The maximum travel time for you is 1 hour, depending on the meeting point.

FAQs
Why do you start so early?
Balloon flights must not take place in thermals (rising air), otherwise the balloon becomes uncontrollable. That's why we take off early in the morning when there is no thermal. Sometimes we can also take off in the evening. Just ask us!
Why are there no fixed meeting points/starting points?
Because the flights depend on the wind and the balloon can only be controlled by altitude. We can tell you the exact meeting point the day before.
How many people fit in a hot air balloon?
We have balloons for 2-16 people. The entire fleet can accommodate up to 90 people.
