Ticketing
What is the best way to book?
You can directly in the Online Calendar book, or you call us or write us a E-mail.
How much earlier should I book?
Depending on the season and availability, we recommend booking a few days to weeks before your desired date. If you have already booked your holiday, then book your balloon ride at the same time, preferably at the beginning of the holiday, then we have time to postpone in case of bad weather.
In high season we are often fully booked days in advance, sometimes you can still find gaps in the booking calender.
For the Alpine crossing we have a list of interested people. Please get in touch with us if you are interested too. 2 days before an alpine crossing we know for sure if we can go and will call you. If you have time for it, let's go, if not, we try again on another ride.

Technology & Security
Why does a balloon float/ride and not fly?
There is a historical reason:
The inventors of the first hot air balloon, the de Montgolfier brothers, explained in 1783 that they float away into the “sea of air”. Since ships are known to sail on the sea, this term was adopted, just in the sea of air.
According to physical logic, everything that is lighter than air and does not have to generate dynamic air movements to get its high weight into the air (such as airplanes, birds, etc.) floats.
Generally:
A balloon only rises due to the warm air generated and cannot be directed in one direction, but is pushed by the wind. However, we can rotate the basket 360 degrees so that everyone has a great view.
Am I insured while riding?
By filling out the ticket you are insured.
Can you go to the toilet while driving?
Unfortunately we don't have a classic toilet with us. Before you start, please go to the toilet again!
There would be a mobile funnel for people with problems. Information about this on request.
I'm afraid of heights, can I still go ballooning?
99% of people who say they are afraid of heights before the ride actually experience no fear of heights at all during the flight. On the contrary, many are quite surprised at how comfortable they feel.
I have physical or mental limitations, can I ride?
This must be clarified and discussed individually . Please contact us.
